Brandi is a graduate Registered Veterinary Technician from Athens Technical College, in Athens, Georgia. Brandi began her career as a RVT at the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine in the Small Animal Intensive Care Unit and Small and Large Animal Anesthesia departments. She has also worked in several private practice veterinary hospitals and at an emergency and critical care veterinary facility. Brandi also stays actively involved in the veterinary technology program at Athens Technical Collegeand has served as a tutor, an adjunct teacher and she currently is a member of the Advisory Committee for the Vet Tech program at the College.

Brandi is married with two young children. Her husband, Josh, is her high school sweetheart and her four year old son, Samuel, and three month old daughter, Natalie, are the loves of her life. They share the family’s home with their two dogs and cat and several horses. Brandi’s hobbies are running, backpacking and barrel racing.

Brandi brings a fresh new set of skills and ideas to our Adoption Center and her years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician have enabled us to expand our selectionof adoptable dogs and cats and increase our flow of adoptions. Brandi’s skills in evaluating and medically treating new pets for our Adoption Center are already producing more immediate adoptions and less holding time for the pets staying in our facility.

Sign Up for our New Dog/Puppy Training Classes

HSMC has received a grant from 
Banfield Charities.

The humane society will grant certificates based on low income criteria.

People who receive the certificates will be asked for their stories to be told and their pictures to be taken. Certificates for veterinary care, not including spay/neuter services, will be issued up to $150-$300 per pet, for up to two pets per household. In an event of an emergency up to $500 may be used.
